From the far north with the rough North Sea coast, its marshes and offshore islands,
to the cities Hamburg and Bremen, to the pulsing Ruhrpott, or Ruhr area, and further south
to Bavaria with its mountains and valleys, Germany has something to make every heart content.
Germany is so much more than just “made in Germany”. A strong, robust economy supported
by a solid social network are the foundations for this comparatively small country.
Sincerity, hard work, punctuality as well as thriftiness are certainly among Germany’s assets
and are considered extremely important, but Germans also love their free time. Holidays and
time with family are writ large. The Germans are masters of traveling for holidays,
discovering their own country and the entire world.
